Sunday School

     We have many different Sunday School classes that have something to offer every age group. Here is a view of most of them. We are always updating with new ideas so please check back often.

 

· Nursery—Emily Bateman, Teacher

· Pre-school—Nicole Jackson, Teacher

· K thru 1st grade—Shirley Burney, Teacher

· 2nd thru 3rd grade—Lisa Hudson & Katina Gibbons, Teachers

· 4th thru 5th grade—Michael Shelton, Teacher

· 6th—8th grade—David & Debbie Posey, Teachers: this class is for all middle school age youth seeking to learn more about their personal walk with Christ in their every day struggles with society.  We average 12-15 students in class and encourage open discussion; the only silly questions are the ones not asked. ~ Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.  Romans 12:2 (New International Version)

· 9th—12th grade—Mike & Sheila Chitwood, Teachers

· Mixed Adults Class—Ronnie Presley & Charlie Hudson, Teachers: this class has been described by the teacher as a group of 8 to 80 blind, crippled and/or crazy “adults”.  This class is a wonderful atmosphere with loving people who study and discuss the word of God... Proverbs 3:5

· The Bible Study Class—Kim Hannah & Genelle Weems, Teachers: this class would like to invite all to join them for in-depth scripture studies, prayer, & fellowship.  Our class currently consists of the young at heart ranging in ages from 38 to 87.  A lot of love is shared within our class and that love is projected back out into the community.  The class’s motto is  "When God calls you, He will equip you".

· Friendship Class—Ruby Byard, Teacher

· Senior Women’s Class—Dorothy McWhorter, Teacher

· Senior Adult Men’s Class—Gary Black, Teacher
